NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ORDINANCE  2023B AMENDING TITLE VI, CHAPTER 6.1 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF FRANKLIN COUNTY, IOWA, TO MAKE SUPPLEMENTAL STANDARDS APPLICABLE TO WIND ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEM CONDITIONAL USES IN A AN “A” AGRICULATURE DISTRICT, AND ENACTING TITLE VI, CHAPTER 6.5 WITHIN THE CODE OF ORDINANACES OF FRANKLIN COUNTY, IOWA, TO PROVIDE FOR SUPPLEMENTAL STANDARDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Franklin County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the 21^st of February 2023, at 1:00PM at the Franklin County Law Enforcement Center Multi-Media Room (105 5^th St. SW Hampton, Iowa) for the purpose of considering a proposed ordinance amending Title VI, Chapter 6.1 of the Code of Ordinances of Franklin County, Iowa to make Supplemental Standards application to wind energy conversion system conditional uses in an “A” Agriculture district, and enacting Title VI, Chapter 6.5 within the code of ordinances of Franklin County, Iowa, to provide for supplemental standards.

A copy of the proposed ordinance is on file in the Franklin County Auditor’s Office, 12 1^st Ave. NW Hampton, Iowa as well on the County website located at www.franklincountyia.gov.   A copy of the proposed ordinance may also be obtained through mail or email by request by contacting the Franklin County Auditor’s Office at 641-456-5622. 

At the time of said hearing, you may appear, in person, or by agent, either in opposition or support for said purpose of the hearing.  You may submit written comments for the purposes of the public hearing before the start of the said hearing at the Franklin County Auditor’s Office, 12 1^st Ave. NW Hampton, Iowa 50441.
