The Auditor calculates tax rates for all taxing entities in the county, including schools, cities, townships, fire districts, sanitary districts,etc. based on their certified budgets. By applying taxes levied by those entities to the valuation of each property as determined by the Assessor, we can then prepare a tax list showing each taxpayer's share of the total. These figures are then certified to the County Treasurer's Office for them to collect taxes.
Below are Levy Sheets which we prepare every year based on the certified levies from the State. There are two sheets for every assessment year. The first contains the Rural Levies and the second contains the City Levies. These files are in .pdf format.
